About Us

The Mill Literary Magazine began in 2011 as a way to showcase and publish student writing. Each year the magazine publishes various student works across genres of fiction, poetry, non-fiction, graphic art, and photography. The ultimate imperative of the magazine is to add to the University creative culture and provide an avenue for young artists to communicate to wider audiences. The UToledo English Department supports this magazine through funds provided by the Shapiro Endowment Fund. We encourage all students to submit work for publication, and if seeing your work in print is not cool enough, the best submissions win prizes in each category. So, polish up your best work and send it to us at themillmagazine@gmail.com
